2018 Polaris RZR XP Turbo S

Stock with 32-inch tires and 25-inches of wheel travel

Polaris is at it again with the release of an all new product called the 2018 Polaris RZR XP Turbo S. The brand new, two seat machine features Long-travel Fox Dynamix Shocks with a whopping 25 inches of wheel travel. We will ask the Polaris engineers how this is possible. You can probably assume the moniker “S” stands for strong.

Wider front A-arms are said to be stronger and extend the overall width of the car to 72 inches. In the back, the trailing arms are redesigned to extend outward and possibly back an inch or two. Although specifics are vague, so far, we estimate the 2018 Polaris RZR XP Turbo S to have at least an inch longer wheelbase. However according to the official specs, the wheelbase is the same as before at 90-inches.Polaris
That would be necessary for the brand new 32-inch ITP Coyote tires to clear the front fenders. The wheels are all-new and stand 15-inches tall with a high positive offset which appears to be equal in the front and rear. More chassis improvements include stronger axles, frame gussets, increased steering assist, a lower roof support and that is available with LED chase lights.Polaris
Inside the 2018 Polaris RZR XP Turbo S cockpit, a fresh looking Ride Command unit will display the usual like shock motion, trail mapping and bluetooth functions.Polaris
The bucket seats are fitted with 4-point harnesses and the steering wheel is a nice Sparco unit.Polaris
Recalibrated throttle mapping should help traction and a new CVT clutch cover will reduce belt temps when compared to older models.Polaris
The 2018 Polaris RZR XP Turbo S will be available later this month starting at $27,499 and come in Indy Red or Polaris Blue. We expect a 4-seat version to follow very soon.Polaris
