Check out these five tire brands that offer treads for both your UTV and your Pick Up Truck.
BFG:
BF Goodrich is no stranger to off road or making great truck tires. After decades of truck and buggy class wins in the Baja 1000, late in 2015 they finally released a UTV specific tire called the KR2. For now it's only available in one 30x10-15 size but expect a 32" to be released soon. For trucks, look at the All Terrain KO2 or the Mud Terrain KM2 in a large variety of overall tire and wheel sizes. See www.jacksonmotorsportsgroup.com.UTV Driver
GBC:
Greenball Corporation (GBC) in one of the largest tire companies in the country and they have rubber for anything that rolls. The Kanati Mongrel UTV tire is so popular. Polaris started using it as factory equipment on the 2015 RZR Desert eddition. In 2016, GBC's other popular UTV tire the Dirt Commander comes as standard equipment on the RZR S models. Tons of sizes and other models are available for every UTV.
To outfit you pickup, the Kanati brand is found on the Mud Hog and Trail Hog truck tires. We have used both on our smaller trucks and they look and work well. Again a variety of sizes are available. Visit www.gbcmotorsports.com.UTV Driver
KENDA:
Kenda was around bullding ATV tires when they still had three wheels. Now their line includes tires for all off road machines no matter how many wheels they have. On the UTV side, the Bounty Hunter and Bearclaw are their top sellers. The Bounty Hunter HD and Bearclaw HTR/EVO, are the latest vehicle specific models with a ton of sizes for all. For trucks the Kenda brand offers the Klever MT which is their most aggressive truck tire. It's available in sizes up to 35-inches tall. See www.kendatire.com.UTV Driver
MAXXIS:
Nearly every OEM today uses Maxxis tires as original equipment and the Bighorn is the most popular. They also have a handful of other tread patterns available in all sizes. Their latest UTV tire is the Liberty. It's only available in 29 and 30-inch sizes. If you are looking for something a bit shorter check out the Ceros, Corronado or Viper tread patterns. Three good patterns are available for your truck in the Maxxis line. Starting with the most aggressive, the Buckshot to the Big Horn then the Bravo. They will look nice on any truck or even your wife's SUV. Check out www.maxxis.com.UTV Driver
PIT BULL:
Pit Bull has the most aggressive UTV tires on the market. Four models are available to chose from under the Growler and Rocker names. They all have super soft and very tall lugs. The Growler LT Radial is most like a truck tire and is DOT legal. Sizes are limited with this style but within all of them the sizes range from 25-30 inches tall. In the truck department, Pit Bull has very large (up to 47") aggressive tires under the same names as the UTV tires and then some. Several tires like the Maddog and PBX are street legal and the others are strictly for competitive rock crawling and sand drag racing. Visit www.pitbulltires.com.UTV Driver
