Yamaha is fleshing out its 2024 youth ATV lineup with the all-new 2024 Yamaha Raptor 110. The youth sport rig is a big step from the old, carbureted Yamaha Raptor 90. While that rig was great in its own right, it was high time for an upgrade. For starters, the Raptor 110 is finally entering the 21st century, ditching a carburetor for electronic fuel injection. Not only does the addition of fuel injection mean a smoother-running engine, the change means the Raptor 110 is 50-state legal.
The Raptor 110 is pointed at riders 10 and up, with styling aping its big brother, the Raptor 700. Yamaha literature is mum on specs on the 2024 Raptor, but the new 112cc fuel-injected single should be good for a significant power increase over the outgoing 90cc rig.
Although the 110 is still aimed at children who are just starting out, the bigger engine should mean that young riders won’t grow out of it as quickly as they might have outgrown the old model. There’s still a huge gap between the Raptor 110 and the next smallest sport ATV, the YFZ450R, but the gap is now at least a little narrower.
