Buyers Guide: UTV Fire Extinguishers And Mounts

To race, a UTV, you must carry a fire extinguisher. For trail riding we think they are important too. Speeding along off road out in the elements, anything can happen. Being prepared, for a flat tire, a broken part or a fire should be just as high of a priority as having fun.

We have assembled a group of affordable and convenient fire extinguishers mounts and extinguishers alone, specifically made for UTV’s. So now you have no excuse not to carry one.

This is a billet mount only, no fire extinguished is supplied. Mix and match any clamp sizes to mount any size extinguisher to any size tube. Its made from aircraft grade 6061 aluminum and stainless steel components that are precision machined for a perfect fit. All contact points are o-ringed so that it will not wear or rattle in even the most demading offroad environment.  Just pull the red quick release handle and the 2lb fire extinguisher is ready to go.

The clamp design allows to mount a 2.5 pound bottle on nearly any size roll cage or tube diameter. The single pull-pin design means you will have quick and easy access even when the pressure is on. Legal for racing and great for playing.

This is a set of two billet aluminum fire extinguisher mounts. It’s made to fit up to 2 lb extinguishers and will fit 1 1/4″, 1 1/2″, 1 3/4″ & 2″ Roll Bars.  Extinguisher not included.  Blue, red and orange are available only for 1 1/2″ and 1 3/4″ mounts.

Thick padding with twin straps fastens to roll cage of utility vehicles or on tubular racks on ATV’s. The drawstring top with cord lock secures fire extinguisher in place for mounting in any direction. It will work with most household or shop fire extinguishers (not included) and is available in Black or Mossy Oak Camo.

A First Alert UL rated class 5-B:C fire extinguisher is Included with a commercial-grade metal valve and trigger that is refillable.

PRP’s fire extinguisher holder has adjustable straps to fit up to a 1.75″ roll cage and a 2 or 3 lb. fire extinguisher. It’s simple, lightweight and affordable. Fire extinguisher is not included.

This one holds a small extinguisher with adjustable hook-and-loop straps for a secure tight fit on a multiple sizes of fire extinguishers. To attach it to your machine, straps with hook-and-loop closures secures holder to any size roll bar.
