Can-Am is spreading some holiday cheer with the release of 5 new 2018 Maverick X3 models.
The most visually exciting model added is a pair of mud-ready Xmr machines. Mudaholics can choose from a 64-inch, 120hp two seater or a wider 72-inch, 172hp beast. Both models will feature snorkeled intake, 30” tall ITP mud tires, a 4500 pound Superwinch winch, tow hooks, arched lower arms and SmartLok, locking front differentials.
SmartLock will also now be found on two or four seat 72-inch wide X rs models. Unfortunately if you want a narrow machine with diff lock you will have to order the RC (Rock Crawl model) or the 120Hp 2018 Maverick X3 X mr mud version.
Last but not least, well least expensive anyway, is a non turbo Maverick called X3 900 H.O. Can-Am claims, this machine is the successor to the Maverick 1000. We think it will be a direct competition to the Yamaha YXZ1000R and the non turbo Polaris XP1000 both in price and performance. For a suggested MSRP of $17,999, the X3 900 H.O. will not only find a home in the woods and on trails across the country, you will see it competing in the N/A classes of WORCS, GNCC, Lucas Oil, TORC, Best In the Desert and SCORE by the time the first green flag drops.
