The 2017 Can-Am Maverick X3 is the most anticipated high performance UTV of the year. Can-Am has been giving us small teasers and clips of the thing in action for days now, but this is the full scoop. A leaked video has surfaced and we got our hands on it right away.

2017 Can-Am Maverick X3
1. It has two seats, not three, however, a four seat model is probably in the works.
2. It looks as it does have a CVT transmission from one of the clips, that shows two large air tubes running down into the engine compartment.
3. Most of the cars in the clips seam to have the same size front and rear Maxxis Big Horn tires. This is a first for any production UTV, although that’s what the desert racers have been running for years.
4. The car leans a lot in the corners. It does have a rear sway bar, but will inspire the aftermarket to come up with a front one very soon.
5. Power output seams very strong and turbo or supercharged. We think it sounds a lot like the ACE 900cc Spark, Sea Doo engine.
6. It has Fox shocks on a few machines in clips but the Hoonigan model may have King brand shocks.
7. The front shock pertrude through the hood like the Yamaha YXZ1000R.
8. The doors are very reminiscent of the V-shaped doors on the RZR.
9. The rear suspension is also RZR XP like with addition of a third radius rod for strength.
10. There is a single muffler centrally located at the back of the car.
