Bilstein is the official shock of the 2023 Yokohama NORRA Mexican 1000 Presented by Meyers Manx. The news marks the return of the brand’s involvement in and sponsorship of the event, which runs from April 28 through May 5 this year. In addition to being part of the event promotion, Bilstein is bringing back the Madonna Award, which honors an individual who champions the motorsport mentality in both spirit and success.
Bilstein is using the 2023 Yokohama NORRA Mexican 1000 Presented by Meyers Manx to promote its new Black Hawk Powersports suspension. The kit touts a two-stage, externally adjustable Zone Control jounce cut-off system plus four-way-adjustable damping, dual speed compression adjustable reservoir (high/low speed), adjustable internal hydraulic bump stop (JCO), and adjustable rebound. We’re keen to test these out on side-by-sides in the future, and perhaps equally so to see who the brand awards the NORRA’s Madonna Award. This recognition is awarded to “an individual who wins a championship in a major American racing series, displays sportsmanship and positive character traits on and off the track, and possesses an intense desire to win while overcoming adversities.”
Stay tuned, as the race down in Baja is right around the corner.
