This past weekend was the 55th SCORE International Baja 500, and the Polaris Factory Racing team’s first race since the San Felipe 250. This race had a very similar result as the San Felipe 250, with the team taking first place. Brock Heger, one of the three drivers who pilots a Polaris Pro R Factory, was the driver standing on top of the podium at the end of the day.

Standing beside Heger were Polaris racers Branden Sims and Kristen Matlock, who finished in second and third. Both Sims and Matlock were driving modified Polaris RZR Pro Rs. Heger’s Factory Racing teammates, Austin Weiland and Cayden MacCachren, finished ninth and 14th, respectively.

“I’m excited for the entire Polaris Factory Racing team. To have come away with victories in both of our first two races is an amazing accomplishment. My RZR Pro R Factory was absolutely flawless today, and it’s incredible to think that this machine is only going to get better the more we test and the more we race,” Heger said.

The Polaris Factory Racing team will be back at the Best in the Desert Vegas to Reno August 16–20, and we’ll be watching for Polaris to claim three titles in a row.
