Brock Heger followed up his SSV class win at the Dakar Rally by showing up and winning the King of the Hammers Desert Challenge last weekend. The win gives the Polaris RZR Pro R Factory its second victory of the year, and it’s barely February. As if that wasn’t enough, Polaris locked out nine of the top 10 spots at the race and swept the podium.
Doug Mittag and Dallas Gonzalez finished second and third, respectively, in modified RZR Pro Rs. Heger’s Dakar co-driver Max Eddy Jr. finished fourth, followed by Wayne and Kristen Matlock in sixth and seventh, respectively. Mikey Kelly, Dylan Schmoke, and CJ Greaves rounded out the top 10.
King of the Hammers is still in full swing through this weekend.
