We finally got to spend some quality time with the electric 2023 Polaris Ranger Kinetic. Polaris invited us down to the machine’s production facility just outside of Huntsville, Alabama, where we got to see some of the first machines being built on the assembly line. That was cool, but nowhere near as much fun as getting our hands on the electric utility rig. With 110 horsepower and 140 lb-ft of torque, it’s considerably more powerful than the gas-powered Ranger XP 1000, and that power translates into healthy acceleration off the line.
Little shock, it’s also incredibly quiet. Most of the time, the fans that cool the batteries are the noisiest thing going. After spending a day with the rig, we put together a list of the five things we love and the five we hate about the new electric utility side-by-side. If you want to know the full story, check out the video below, and be sure to swing back by soon. We’ll have a full review up soon. And if you like what you see, the Ranger Kinetic is on sale right now. Prices start at $24,999.
