Sand Hollow State Park OHV Area (Utah)

Where to ride ATVs and UTVs

The drive from Logandale to Sand Hollow gives you a glimpse of the scenery offered in Utah. Once you exit the I-15 freeway, the route to Sand Hollow gets you off the main highway and headed toward the beautiful landscapes adjacent to Zion National Park.

Sand Hollow has one of the best mixes of terrain anywhere, and this is evidenced by the ability to be slingin’ sand one minute and then rock crawling on the grippy sandstone the next. Again, bringing dirt tires might be a good idea here if you like to challenge your driving ability and machine on Moab-like trails.

The other thing that makes this place unique and one of the most visited riding areas is the fact that you can bring your boat. Yes, you read that right! Camping for this area is actually located on the beach, and you can park your side-by-side right next to your boat if wanted. Summer visitors enjoy hot weather here, with temperatures sometimes reaching into the 100s, perfect for riding the sand in the morning and boating in the afternoons.
