Arctic Cat has teamed up with Garmin to integrate the new Tread powersports navigation system into 2022 Prowler and Wildcat XX models. It features a glove-friendly touchscreen and is built to IPX7 water-resistant standards. The Tread unit will bolt directly into the dash of various Arctic Cat models with the included mounting hardware. Tread offers drivers built-in altimeter, barometer, compass, pitch, and roll gauges. Garmin’s world-class topographic and street maps are preloaded for North and South America. Additionally, Garmin’s high-resolution BirdsEye Satellite Imagery can be downloaded directly to Tread via Wi-Fi without a subscription.
Arctic Cat owners will need to purchase the Tread GPS kit separately. It will retail for $549.95. Install kits are sold separately for $39.95 or $69.95, depending on which model Arctic Cat you have.
Want to take your Garmin Tread-equipped Arctic Cat to the next level? Grab the Premium GPS kit instead, which includes everything you get with the standard setup with the addition of Group Ride Radio. This feature allows you to track up to 20 other riders and communicate with them via Bluetooth radio.
The Premium kit will retail for $699.95 and require the separately sold install kit as well.
Arctic Cat plans to incorporate the Garmin Tread system into the rest of the company’s powersports lines, including the all new Alterra 600 ATV.
