Powersports protective gear maker Klim has just expanded its F3 Carbon line of helmets. The new helmet will be called the F3 Carbon Pro; Klim says it will be its lightest helmet ever. Like the rest of the F3 Carbon series, the Carbon Pro uses a hand-laid carbon fiber shell. It also uses Koroyd next-gen impact protection that makes the Carbon Pro the lightest ECE 22.06–rated helmet on the market.
The helmet features 13 intake vents and six exhaust vents to keep the rider cool while riding. The visor has been updated to be stronger and more aerodynamic. The Carbon Pro also uses a magnetic Fidlock quick-release buckle in place of a standard D-ring for easier one-handed operation.
The Klim F3 Carbon Pro helmets retail for $499.99 and are available for preorder at klim.com.
