Friday’s season finale of the BFGoodrich 55th SCORE Baja 1000 is reporting a total of 266 total entries. The race runs over a rugged 1,000-mile course on Mexico’s Baja California peninsula. Classes include pro and sportsman series for cars, trucks, UTVs, motorcycles, and quads. The UTV classes include Pro Stock UTV with 11 entries and Pro Open UTV with nine.
On Friday, motorcycle and quad classes will stage at 2:00 AM PST and start at 3:00 AM. Four-wheel classes, including trucks, cars, and UTVs, will begin staging at 8:15 PST and start at 10:00 AM.
Racers must finish in a time limit of 36 hours to complete the course and officially finish. Most racers are expected to finish in about 17 hours. The official race results will be posted onto the SCORE website on Sunday, November 20th at 10:00 AM PST.
