Honda has announced the 2023 Pioneer 700 recreational-utility side-by-side will come with a dose of refinements and new accessories to improve performance and comfort. Most notable is the addition of the Forest trim.
The Pioneer 700 is a middleweight machine for Honda, which it claims has “heavyweight capability on the worksite and lightweight handling on the trail.” All Pioneer 700s come with a tilt bed with a 1,000-pound capacity. Power is from a 675cc fuel-injected liquid-cooled single-cylinder engine across the board, and every Pioneer 700 uses Honda’s automatic transmission with a hydraulic torque converter. For 2023, the Pioneer 700 is available in three trim levels, all of which come in two- and four-seater configurations: Pioneer 700, Pioneer 700 Deluxe, and Pioneer 700 Forest.
Forest is an all-new trim for the Pioneer 700 for 2023. It comes with special features and accessories preinstalled, such as a Warn VRX45 winch, bed lights, a secondary 12-volt outlet, large front bumper, under-dash storage, paddle shifters, electric power steering, and aluminum wheels. The Forest is available solely in Honda Phantom Camo.
Pricing for the 2023 Honda Pioneer starts at $11,799 for the base two-seat model and runs up to $16,899 for the four-seat Pioneer 700-4 Forest. More information can be found on Honda’s website.
