The venerable Polaris Ranger 570 has gone under the knife for 2022. The refreshed 2022 Ranger SP 570 features new styling in line with the rest of the Ranger family along with a cargo box that’s 30 percent larger. Engineers also reworked the machine’s tailgate to use a single handle to make loading and unloading cargo easier. The machine still gets along with the same 44 hp engine, which means it still offers an impressive 1,500-pound towing capacity.
That said, Polaris gave the Ranger SP 570′s mechanicals a once-over. There’s a new, larger clutch that’s been specifically tuned for low-speed operation, and the vehicle comes with what Polaris is calling maintenance-free suspension bushings and wheel bearings. Higher trims also bow with an upgraded 575 cold-cranking-amp battery and 660-watt stator.
The redesigned cab offers more legroom than before, and Polaris says the new seats are both more comfortable and more durable as well. The company improved ingress and egress, which is important on a midsize machine like the Ranger SP 570.
At 56 inches wide, the SP 570 is right sized for a small farm and tight trails, but the tiny footprint didn’t keep Polaris from throwing its full arsenal of goodies at the rig. For starters, there are 40 new accessories and four new accessory packages, including Landowner, Farm, Hunt, and Trail, for your specific use case. You can now get a 7-inch Ride Command touchscreen system for the Ranger SP 570. More importantly, the SP 570 can be had with a full cab to keep weather at bay with the Northstar Edition.
The base SP 570 starts at $10,499, while the four-seat Ranger Crew SP 570 comes in at $11,999. If you want that full cab, look to spend $16,999 for the Northstar Edition. The Ranger SP 570 Crew Northstar Edition rings in at $19,499.
