The Segway Fugleman is real, and it’s about to arrive at dealers. Powersports Business reports that a Segway dealer based in Minnesota is expecting their first delivery of Segway Fugleman side-by-sides to arrive soon, according to an Instagram post.
Segway could very well have a hit on its hands with the Fugleman. Strange name aside, it promises to be a solid, value-driven offering. Pricing for the Fugleman UT10 starts at $19,995 CAD; we expect final figures in US dollars soon. This base trim comes standard with a 1,000cc 105 hp parallel twin-cylinder engine and electric power steering with three modes for adjustable assist. It even gets a standard 3,500-pound-capacity winch, half doors, and automotive-style 10.4-inch TFT center screen. The available UTH 6 hybrid model adds a permanent magnet synchronous motor to its 570cc gas engine for a total of 86 hp and 70.8 pound-feet of torque. Its towing capacity is a notable 1,700 pounds and the hybrid application should provide immediate torque down low, which will make it well suited to rock crawling and mud applications.
There’s no news of when the Villain sport UTV will be available but we hope for updates soon.
