Volcon Recieves First Order From the US Army for the Stag

Volcon announced on Wednesday that they will be shipping two Stags to the U.S. Army in mid-2023. The order was filled through the Department of Logistics Agency’s Tailored Logistics Program, and will support the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers disaster and emergency response missions. The Stag will be sent on missions that require emergency power delivery, such as infrastructure assessments, debris removal, and search and rescue operations.

The vehicles will be split between two different locations, and will be outfitted with fully enclosed cabs. The U.S. Army Engineer Research and Development Center will aim to “introduce the Stag to soldiers rotating through their training sites and look for other opportunities for military applications.”
