Here’s a fun one to kick off your week. Two weeks ago, YouTube star Cleetus McFarland hosted the third 2.4 Hours of LeMullets Ford Crown Victoria race at his Florida racetrack called the Freedom Factory. For the few hours prior to the event, the heavens opened, and soaked the south Florida venue with a couple inches of rain. By the time the Crown Vic race kicked off, things had dried out substantially, but the track was still under a couple inches of water for the SxS race that served as the warmup act.
The Michigan lunatics from SXSBlog were on hand, as they often are, for the 2.4 Hours of LeMullets and couldn’t pass up the chance to show off in the SxS race. With three entries, they managed to hold off race organizer Ronnie Renner to snag second and third place in a brace of Can-Am Maverick X3s. Further down the field, their back-from-the-dead Polaris RZR Pro R put up a valiant fight for the top 10. Seems the big Polaris had an issue with understeer and was a bit ungainly for the supertight racecourse.
