Black Ops Machine Releases RZR Pro R and Turbo R Ball Joints

Bigger threads, bigger body, better materials.

If you managed to break one of these, our hat’s off to you.Black Ops Machine

Black Ops Machine hasn’t been around very long, but it is already setting its sights on a big prize: Fixing the relatively weak factory lower ball joints on the Polaris RZR Pro R and Polaris RZR Turbo R. The housing and support cup of the Black Ops Machine units are 4130 chromoly steel, and the stud is 300M steel. Better materials are always good, but Black Ops Machine didn’t stop there. The company also upped the size of the stud from 12-1.5 threads to 16-1.5 for good measure.

They’re made of much stronger material than the stock units, and the ball joint stud is now 16mm in diameter, as opposed to the stock 12mm studs.Black Ops Machine

The dust boots are neoprene, and the adjustable plate cap is machined from 6061 aluminum. The Black Ops Machine lower ball joints are also fully rebuildable, so once they’re installed, you don’t ever need to replace them. When they get tired, rebuild them and you’re good to go.

The Black Ops Machine Heavy-Duty Lower Ball Joints are sold individually through BOM’s website. They normally retail for $119.95 each, but for now they are $99.95 on a limited promotional deal. Go get a pair. Black Ops Machine also makes parts for Can-Ams, so if you’re not a Polaris owner, you aren’t out of luck.
