Nebo’s Assist Jump Starter Will Keep You Charged on the Trail

When preparing for an off-roading trip, packing a variety of tools is essential. From wrenches, extra belts, all the way to a portable air compressor, it’s hard to pack too many tools. But what about a tool for a dead battery? Jumper cables work just fine, but they’re an awkward shape to pack, plus you need a second vehicle to get any use at all out of them. Luckily, Nebo has a solution.

The Assist jumper box solves the issues with packing bulky, standard jumper cables. It weighs only 1.53 pounds, making it easy to pack with the rest of your tools. It uses a lithium-polymer 4Ah battery that can be used to jump or charge any 12-volt vehicle battery. The Assist also uses smart technology to create an “error-proof” design, eliminating fly-off sparks from jumping off a battery. Instead of a removable battery, it uses a USB-C cable to charge.
