Let’s say you’re a motorsports parent looking to get your aspiring desert racer into their first fully built race car. You could buy something like, say, a Polaris RZR Trail 570, a pile of aftermarket parts, and have someone build it for you. Figure you’ll have brand-new Can-Am Maverick R money in it by the time the dust settles. It’s a hit, but that’s what it takes to get junior out into the whoops.
But what if there was a cheaper way? It’d probably look a lot like this listing from Race Dezert. This is a Carr One Fabrication–built 2020 Polaris RZR Trail 570, and it’s designed for youth racers. It was campaigned by “Jedi Jack” Mamelli, who has gone on to pilot a full-size UTV in desert racing.
So his old RZR is for sale, complete with spares and a few extra seats to suit growing drivers. The asking price is $16,500, which is definitely way less than the cost of the build. Head over to Race Dezert to give it a look.
