DRT Motorsports keeps rolling out new gear. The Riverside, California, maker of some seriously cool UTV parts signed on as presenting sponsor of last month’s Sand Sports Super Show. And if your name’s on the marquee, you should probably have something to showcase when the crowd comes. For DRT, that meant a custom build based on the updated 2025 RZR Pro R just unveiled in August.
Since Polaris didn’t make any mechanical changes to the 2025 Pro R and DRT’s familiar with the model, the biggest challenge appears to have been the time crunch. You wouldn’t know that from the finished product though. Beyond DRT components like the new grille, bumper, and radius rods, the list of parts includes Sparco seats, an HCR suspension, Metal FX wheels on RCR Sandcraft Destroyer paddle tires, and two banks of KC HiLites throwing enough lumens to track this Pro R from Saturn.
It appears the one thing DRT didn’t have time to do was get us a bunch of beauty shots. Instead, you can check out videos on the build process starting with the vision, talking us through the build, and watching the rig strut its stuff at Glamis. Company general manager Mark Perez hinted that “a lot of” the parts DRT product designer Jason Brunmier created will go into production. Based on just the new components we’ve covered over the past couple of months, seems like we’re looking for a big release of DRT accessories for various brands, so stay tuned.
