Honda has announced that it will be holding a National Technician Contest for its Powersports and Products Division. The contest will first require an online qualification test consisting of 75 multiple-choice questions. Eight of the top-scoring participants, four from Honda’s two-wheel department and four from the four-wheel department, will be sent to Honda’s training center in Alpharetta, Georgia, to compete in the finals.
The finals will take place in January 2025, and two champions, one from each department, will win a prize package worth $8,000. The contest will be held for the next three years, and champions from each year will compete for the chance to travel to Japan in 2027 for the Global Technician Contest. The competition is currently open to all active Honda technicians, although those who advance will be required to pass Red-Level training before qualifying for the finals.
