There’s no such thing as getting away clean from a day in a UTV. There are ways to come home less filthy, though, like Polaris’ full-coverage fender flares for the RZR. To our eyes, they don’t look that much fuller than the standard RZR fenders, but as with all things off-road, a couple of inches can make a huge difference, as anyone with more tire, more ground clearance, or more suspension travel can show you.
Polaris posted an installation vid for the flares, and let’s just say they’re not plug-and-play—Polaris considers the installation a task of medium difficulty. Because the rig’s body panels overlap, with the fenders at the bottom of the pile, the installer needs to remove just about everything from the tweeters on down to get the stock fender flares off.
At least the tool requirements are simple; the most exotic needs a Torx set and the magical 10mm socket.
If you’re interested in a set for your RZR, you can buy the kit at Polaris’ accessories store for $450 for most RZR models, and download written instructions too.
