2025 Kawasaki Ridge Crew Gallery

All the photos we have of the Ridge Crew in Montana.

The Kawasaki Ridge Crew has been officially released, and we recently got to spend some time with it in Montana. We found out that it’s a luxury work rig that’s aimed at landowners with a bit more change to play with. You can check out our full review on it, but if you just want to see the photos, we’ve got you covered here.

The Ridge XR Crew uses the same 116-hp 999cc inline-four that the two-door Ridge XR gets.Kawasaki
The Ridge is a luxury rig through and through, and the Crew doesn’t forget that. The top-spec Ridge XR Crew Limited gets leatherette seating for five, a serious audio system, and navigation from a removable, 8-inch Garmin Tread display.Kawasaki
The Ridge XR Crew Limited, which is the only Ridge Crew with navigation, is $38,099 before accessories and taxes and fees. In other words, this is yet another UTV that will cost you north of $40,000 by the time you leave the dealer.Kawasaki
Kawasaki took the Ridge, which was all-new last year, and added a second row of seats. That required strengthening the frame here and there and lengthening some wires and hoses, but otherwise changes were kept to a minimum for the Crew.Kawasaki
Just like we said with the two-door Ridge, we think the Ridge Crew is less of a rec-ute machine, and more of a luxurious pure utility UTV.Kawasaki
Kawasaki says it changed ECU tuning for 2025 for “friendlier” initial throttle response, and added a collar to the drive clutch that keeps the CVT belt taut to make pulling away from a stop smoother.Kawasaki
The suspension has been tuned to cope with the added weight of the second row, and the brakes are stronger.Kawasaki
Power is the same as the two-door version. That means you get 92 hp and 65 lb.-ft. of torque the Ridge Crew, and 116 hp and 74 lb.-ft. of torque in the Ridge XR Crew and Ridge XR Crew Limited.Kawasaki
The engine should be refreshingly easy to maintain, as every vital system is easy to access with the Ridge’s hydraulic-assist dump bed raised.Kawasaki
The Ridge XR Crew gets 30-inch tires front and rear, while the Ridge Crew gets staggered 27-inch tires.Kawasaki
The XR Crew has more than 14 inches of ground clearance, while the Crew has 13 inches of clearance.Kawasaki
If you’re going off-roading, stick with the Ridge XR Crew lineup. Not only are the XRs more powerful, they have locking diffs front and rear, while the Ridge Crew makes do with just a rear locker.Kawasaki
The Ridge Crew gets a removable 8-inch Garmin Tread GPS.Kawasaki
The Ridge XR Crew HVAC gets four sport bucket seats with consoles front and rear, while the Ridge XR Crew Limited seats five, with bucket seats up front and a bench in the back row.Kawasaki
The seating position is utilitarian, that is to say upright with a relatively flat seat. It’s fine for an hour or so, but would get old on an all-day ride.Kawasaki
The extra weight means the Ridge Crew feels less sprightly than the two-door, but the extra length gives the rig more stable, planted handling.Kawasaki
In true utility rig fashion, the suspension is absolutely nothing special. Do not expect name-brand internal bypass shocks, mind-bending travel numbers, or impressive handling.Kawasaki
The Ridge gets dual wishbones at both ends, coilover gas shocks, and 12.7 inches of wheel travel front and rear.Kawasaki
The Ridge Crew gets dual-piston caliper brakes in the front and single-pistons in the rear.Kawasaki
There’s a solid amount of storage inside, and the Ridge feels like a very usable rig for light-duty farm and jobsite duty.Kawasaki
Bed capacity is 1000 pounds everywhere except California, which limits bed capacity to 600 pounds. Towing capacity is 2500 pounds, and total payload capacity ranges from 1290 to 1499 pounds.Kawasaki
The Ridge Crew HVAC seats six people, though grown middle-seat passengers in either row will be cramped.Kawasaki
Every new Kawasaki comes with a three-year limited warranty.Kawasaki
Got a crew to get to the hunting spot? Kawi has a Ridge for that in the form of the Ridge Crew Camo.Kawasaki
The engine is the star of the show. It sounds good, performs well, and suits the package perfectly.Kawasaki
The Ridge feeds its power through a CVT automatic and a selectable transfer case with high and low ranges.Kawasaki
The Ridge XR Crew Limited gets cameras front and rear. Frustratingly, you have to scroll through a menu to use either of them. There is no automatic backup camera.Kawasaki
The Ridge Crew tops out at $31,799 with the HVAC Camo trim.Kawasaki
