A video game YouTuber who calls his channel No Bitrate has answered a question he’s convinced everyone was asking. He has demonstrated what happens when you try to fire green Mario Kart–style shells off your car. We’re not so sure everyone was asking for this, but here we are. A little imagination, a lot of budget, some legal gray area, boom. Mario Kart shells get fired off a tired Suzuki X90 at a hapless Nissan Quest.
The video is 35 minutes long, and there appear to be many ups, downs, and issues as No Bitrate and the team prepare the rocket-propelled shells. We gotta admit, we skipped most of that. As far as we can tell, the story went like this: A hyperactive, heavily Red Bulled Gen-Zer babbles breathlessly while a bunch of people work pretty hard to build him a series of rockets.
Then, after discovering that he has to be in the car or run afoul of the US’s drone laws, he and a friend fire a shell-tipped rocket at a minivan. The result is some pretty funny footage, Styrofoam blasted around the desert, and a Nissan Quest with a big dent in it.
This makes the Hyperventilator-in-Chief very happy, and even more excited. We are happy for him. We’re happy that you get to watch this video. Hooray for the internet.
