Remember that tiny Jeep Ed Marsh tried to drive to Area 51? That machine got along with a 125cc single-cylinder. Now Massimo has brought the world a new 300cc version called the GKD. It looks less Jeepy than before, but it’s also considerably larger, which is good for those of us who aren’t the size of a dainty British man.
Surely a Massimo GKD 350 will fix all of my problems. How much power does it make? Who knows! But the transmission has forward, neutral, and reverse! Truly the three most important gears. There’s 11 inches of ground clearance, which, as the astute among you will note, is 1 more inch than 10.
Joking aside, these things cost a whopping $7,000, and Walmart will ship one straight to your door. Is this the solution to high-dollar side-by-sides? Should we all go wheeling in these? Do I have one in my cart already? Who among you can explain to my wife how badly I need this?
