Nacon has just released a teaser trailer for its new game, Overpass 2, featuring more than 30 licensed vehicles and 31 different tracks. The trailer only showed Polaris RZRs and Yamaha YXZs in the lineup, but let’s hope that Nacon will give us a few more options by the time the game releases.
The first game was made by Belgian developer Zordix Racing, but the rights to the name and development have been handed over to Nacon. Even though Overpass 1 had four different game modes, including a career mode, it played more like an old-school arcade racer with outdated graphics that turned most modern gamers away from the title. Nacon has promised a “brand-new experience: improved graphics, enhanced physics, new vehicles and terrains,” which gives us hope that Overpass 2 will reach a broader audience.
Overpass 2 will be coming to PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X/S on October 19.
