Off-road racing is a tough game to play, making the people who rise to the top of the heap even more notable. Polaris Off-Road recently released the latest episode of its Tough Doesn’t Quit series on YouTube, highlighting iconic racer Vicki Golden, a pioneering woman in motorsport.

Vicki’s résumé is long and impressive, including medals at AMA Supercross and X Games events. She was the first woman to qualify for an AMA Arenacross main event and was the first female member of the Metal Mulisha, a motorsport-oriented clothing brand. Injuries didn’t hold her back, either, as she suffered a torn ACL and MCL in 2011 but continued pressing forward.

Polaris highlighted the three-time X Games gold medalist’s story on its YouTube channel, providing details on Golden’s early career and progression through the ranks. She told the story of the challenges her position in the sport entailed and discussed her road to earning the respect and admiration of her competitors and teammates.

If you’re interested in hearing Golden’s story, the video is live on Polaris’ channel now. The company’s two other “Tough” ambassadors, Tavo Vildósola and Twitch Stenberg, also got highlight reels. Vildósola has multiple Baja 1000 victories under his belt, and Twitch overcame numerous broken bones to become a race-winning champion.
