SSR has just unveiled a new youth side-by-side, the SRU170Z. The UTV comes with an MSRP of only $4,999, which makes it one of the cheapest youth rigs on the market. This makes it a compelling option for someone wanting to introduce their child into off-roading with more freedom than sitting passenger.
The SRU170Z follows full-size side-by-side mechanics, featuring a 168cc four-stroke single-cylinder engine that’s mated to a CVT, double A-arm front suspension, disc brakes, and aluminum wheels. While the engine only makes 11.1 hp and 8.1 lb.-ft. of torque, it’s plenty to push the 540-pound curb weight. You even get a 180-day limited warranty.
