There’s nothing quite as satisfying as getting a shiny new side-by-side dirty for the first time, and realizing that all that money you just blew was very much worth it. That’s especially true when that rig is a 2023 Polaris RZR Pro R. The SXSBlog crew just got their hands on their third brand-new Pro R to replace a very tired Can-Am Maverick X3.
To celebrate, they took their entire fleet to Michigan’s Silver Lake dunes. We’ve learned first-hand how excellent the RZR Pro R is in the sand, but the SXSBlog crew have pushed well beyond that limit with their previous two machines. With any luck, three is a charm, and this new rig lasts a little longer than the others.
They were able to stick one of their first Pro Rs back together after sending it too hard at Silver Lake last year, but the other, a Pro R 4 that got dropped off a truck, went the way of the dodo. But if this video is anything to go on, they learned a lot from the earlier experiences, as they waste absolutely no time getting the new rig very, very airborne. Here’s to their new Pro R. We expect the machine is here for a good time, not a long time.
