The dudes at SXSBlog are known for doing seriously ill-advised jumps with very expensive side-by-sides, but this is another level. It seems they wanted to put on a jump contest, which involved plenty of practice runs in a Can-Am Maverick X3 and a Polaris RZR Pro R. The speeds and distances they achieve are borderline scary.
This is probably peak side-by-side action, as the guys are putting themselves up against physics just to see what happens. There’s a bit of friendly back-and-forth, too, to keep the speeds increasing and the jumps getting longer.
As if the jumping isn’t enough, the crew’s 2JP, a 2JZ-powered Polaris RZR, is back at the sand drags trying to hit 100 mph in less than four seconds. We won’t spoil it entirely, but they aren’t far off. Hit the video to check out the insanity.
