Textron Issues Recalls for Arctic Cat Prowler and Tracker 800SX

Textron has issued a recall for the 2022 and 2023 Arctic Cat Prowler Pro, Arctic Cat Prowler Pro Crew, Tracker 800SX, and Tracker 800SX Crew due to a false “park” light on the vehicles’ digital dash. The vehicle can still roll while the “park” light is on, which can cause crashes when the vehicle is parked on an incline.

Around 6,800 vehicles have been recalled, and Textron is contacting all known customers to inform them of the recall. If you own any of the above-mentioned side-by-sides, you should call Textron at (800) 279-2281 or email the company at arcticcatwarranty@textron.com to find out if your vehicle is affected.

If your vehicle falls under the recall, you should stop riding and bring it to your local dealer immediately for repair. The repair includes a new shift cable, a shifter position sensor, and a decal that is placed on the digital display. The new sensor will display an “E” on the dash if the vehicle is not fully in park.
