Volcon Stag Enters Limited Production

Volcon e-Powersports has made good on years of promises by starting production of its Stag electric luxury UTV. GLV Manufacturing is building the rigs on behalf of Volcon at a factory in Mexico. Volcon is starting with a limited production run of the Volcon Stag LTD, one of four trims it plans to offer.

We stopped by the Volcon booth at Overland Expo East earlier this month, and the folks there told us production was imminent. We admit we were slightly skeptical given how long the Stag has been in development, but we’re stoked to see the Stag get that much closer to driveways.

Production also means the company is preparing to fulfill its first orders for the US Army Corps of Engineers, which ordered a total of seven of the machines. Final testing on preproduction units is wrapping up as you read this, so it looks like full production won’t be too far behind this initial run.
