500 2022 Yamaha Vikings Recalled for Parking Brake Issue

Yamaha has issued a recall for about 500 2022 Viking models for parking brake retaining bolts that could come loose and allow the vehicles to roll away when parked. The recall affects Viking EPS, Viking EPS Ranch Edition, Viking VI EPS, and Viking VI EPS Ranch Edition models. According to the recall notice, the affected vehicles were either Copper Metallic, Hunter Green, or Tactical Green.

The recall notice says customers with affected machines should immediately stop using them and contact their local dealer. Yamaha will inspect and repair affected vehicles for free. So far, there are no reported incidents or injuries related to the issue.
