Watch: 48 Hours With the Polaris Xpedition

We took the 2024 Polaris Xpedition XP Northstar to the Atlantic coast for two days of non-stop riding, pitting the adventure rig against the salt and sand of Portsmouth Island, NC. The little strip of sand in the Outer Banks is a paradise with fangs. All but abandoned, there are no services and few buildings. When you show up, you’re on your own. In theory, that’s exactly what the Xpedition was designed for. We loaded the bed with camping gear and spent 48 hours fishing, exploring, and putting the Xpedition through its paces.

So what did we learn? The Xpedition’s excellent suspension remains a stand out, but the XP’s limited space means it’s less than ideal for living out of. You’ll have to watch the video for the complete rundown. Check it out below:
