Watch Our Cheapest SxS vs. a $50,000 Jeep

You’ve said it over and over again. “Why not just buy a Jeep?” We recently headed to Windrock OHV to try and answer that question by pitting our cheapest, worst side-by-side against a very slick 2019 Jeep Gladiator. In one corner: the Tuk-Tuk, our hammered, billion-mile Can-Am Defender HD8. In the other: a Jeep with more cash in suspension than we have in side-by-side.

Look, we love Jeeps. We’ve owned a pile of them, and both rigs are well-suited to taking on the rigors of Trail 22, a blue route with only a couple of hairy spots. But the two quickly showed us exactly how much more capable a UTV can be. Even when that UTV is our poor Tuk-Tuk. Check out the video below and be sure to let us know what you think in the comments.
