The gap between the 2024 Polaris RZR Pro R and the 2024 Can-Am Maverick R is so tight you couldn’t slide a sheet of paper between them. With way north of 200 horsepower and more than two feet of suspension travel, it’s hard to call one more capable than the other. They cost almost the same, too. So, what’s a discerning consumer to do?
We took the machines to Windrock Park in Oliver Springs, Tennessee, to pick apart their differences. The object was to figure out how to choose between the two. This is the first time we have had these rigs in the same place at the same time, so we were stoked to have the chance to give them a shakedown.
