If you like pickups and doodads to put on and in pickups, this one goes in your mealtime YouTube queue. TFL Truck toured the truck hall of last month’s SEMA show, the takeaway being there’s more stuff than ever to put on a pickup, and people keep coming up with new ways to do that. The first showpiece is as normal as it’s going to get, a special-edition Ford F-150 from Ford Performance called the “ORV.” It’s larded for the backcountry with aids like external lights, Raptor side steps, ARB chests, Hi-Lift jack, and a bed-mounted spare fastened next to the electric mountain bike.
It doesn’t take long to get to the wares that bring all the boys to the SEMA yard. The truck above? A gem from Warn Industries, the winch people. We don’t know where the idea came from, but we like imagining Warn coming up with a pre-built option one could buy off a showroom floor, built to rescue the ever larger numbers of people getting their cars and crossovers stuck in places they shouldn’t be. The Warn number is ready with 360-degree rescue coverage thanks to nine winches. You read that right.
As soon as your food is ready, dig in.
